We spent the day at the lake. We were there to place a bell over Blue’s grave (Our Siberian Husky). He rests near the lake. Blue loved going to the lake. We took Nala with us today (she is a Siberian Husky). On our way home, we passed the pasture where my favorite horses live. I’ve flirted with the spotted one before. The horses were in the middle of their pasture. I started talking to them as I approached the fence. They approached me & I was in love, all over again. None of these pictures are in any order. The one I kissed & snuggled with, is the one that is photographed the least. I was too busy flirting. My ten year old son took the photographs of me. My husband & daughter remained in the car, with no interest in a visit. My son followed me & he was in awe. As you can plainly see. Best. Day. Ever.

Oh, I’d be right there among the horses with you, Amy. They are BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely magical. And your son is clearly a talented photographer! Thank you for these, feeling inspired for the day!

Reggie, it was magical. I talked to them & they came to me. They let me kiss & compliment them on their beauty. I loved it so much. Thank you & good luck with your inspiration! ~amy

“Where in this wide world can man find nobility without pride, friendship without envy, or beauty without vanity. Here, where grace is served with muscle & strength by gentleness confined He serves without servility, he has fought without enmity. There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent. There is nothing so quick, nothing more patient.” ~ Ronald Duncan ‘the horse’ 1954
These words give meaning to feeling horse inspire in some of us. Me & it would seem, you. 🙂

oh, Karen. It was pure bliss. The horses needed brushing & loving. I felt instant love for these powerful & noble animals. I wish I could have a sanctuary for older horses. I cannot ride b/c of my hips. But boy can I kiss & brush & flirt for hours & days & days. Maybe i should find a sanctuary close to home so I can give & receive love. And honor these amazingly powerful horses. Thank you for seeing my joy. ~amy

That was a face that hid nothing but what he felt when that horse turned from me to meet him. He was as connected to those horses as much as I was. He has a knack for communicating with animals that I am proud to say, came from his mother! Thank you for complimenting the photo. ~amy

Thank you, Bee!! I know you get the title & you are lucky to have a horse in your daily life. I wish for it, but lack the body to care for one. Maybe one day my children will own one & I can have a grand horse! All love, no work. Take care! ~amy

It really is quite time consuming and I’m so happy that I can take the time right now. I see it as a great chance to learn some horsemanship. Who knows how long I’ll have this opportunity. Wish you luck with your grand horse 🙂 Bee
