I sat down at a table, with a very wonderful friend, to enjoy a cup of tea. I’d never been to this coffee/book store before. It used to be a Starbucks, but was now a privately owned establishment. Church Street coffee & Books, in Crestline Village, for those who live in Birmingham. I support the privately owned as much as I can, bravo to their courage. Behind my friend- was this sight…a little blue closet filled with yellow lanterns. A delightful sight.
Thanks John. I know when I feel sorry for myself because a project doesn’t take of as I hoped, it is nothing compared to a person who has a private business. I grew up in a small town & watched my parents struggle to get their practice (Optometry) off the ground. I have a bit of insight to the daily struggles & fear of mom-n-pop. I do my best to support all that I can. ~amy
Great contrast, and three thumbs up to you for supporting mom-n-pop business in America! Big box America is big, but it has no soul.
