I have never used real ones in any of my cooking. I’m a wimp when it comes to hot. I just shake powder or flakes into my food. My son could drink it from the bottle if I allowed him to. I think these were just for decoration though. ~amy

The chillies in North Cyprus are tiny but amazingly hot. They are served up as a side with meals and the first time I took a tiny bite – nearly blew my head off. I love chillis but I couldn’t catch my breth at all. I used a tiny chilli in our stir-fry last night and it was amazing how much chilli it imparted to the dish. And no, I don’t eat them one their own at all, whether raw or pickled.
