This is so beautiful. I do hope you try it, it really is fun to grow, and the flowers are beautiful before and after they bloom.
I grew some one year and was surprised that it grew so tall! I never fed it or did anything special to it and yet it was almost twice as tall as what grew in the cotton fields here in Alabama. Perhaps it was the lack of Roundup? π

Really, you grew one?! I will have to find out how to plant/grow one of my own. That is so neat! They were much taller at the gardens then I’ve seen them in the fields. Some looked like Santa Clause because no one had picked the cotton off. Thank you for sharing, Lynda! ~amy
