Hamsa is hung in homes or worn to protect one from the evil eye. Many scholars believe the Hamsa predates both Judaism & Islam. This one was made using matt board, colored tinfoil & fake crystals.  A lot of fun to make.

  2. Lovely work, absolutely lovely. We have a Hand of Fatima hanging on our front wall which looks like the Hamsa. And all around North Cyprus you see the evil eye protector.
