
a gift given to my mother-from me. They remain as they were when I gifted them to her a few years ago. They sit on her kitchen table. The table itself reflects the colors of her stained glass & the colors of the changing leaves of autumn.
instead of fire lighting them, the sunlight did.

To light them will ruin them, keeping them this way preserves their beauty. But without lighting them you will never see their flame. It’s a candle conflict!

It is a conflict. I think the pear candles are more art then candle. My mother would only light them if she lacked both candles & light! ~amy
