i grew up surrounded by books about Bob Dylan or Kabbalah or physics or Sir Isaac Newton or chess plays by Bobby Fisher. What about Dad’s Hasselblad or the Talmud? I grew up in Vermont, snowed in with three channels. I read almost every book on my mother’s fiction shelves (I read ‘fear of flying’ when i was 15. OMG & Oops) to some of Dad’s non fiction. Very well rounded education at my finger tips…I am grateful for it. This is my father’s pile on the screened in sun porch.

Fantastic, I love books, they’ve been part of my life since I was very young. Yeay, books rule!

They do. I was very grateful for their company during the snowed in long winters. ~amy
