long ago when i taught elementary art, i brought my supplies in a basket. in that basket would almost always be a lure, asi loved to fish as well! the little boys always fished out those lures as subject matter! great watercolor! z

you stopped watercolors? yikes! two years ago i painted so much (watercolor) that i injured my right shoulder.. it felt like a broken shoulder. one doctor got me well through conventional ways, and after a month’s rest i started painting an hour or two the first day and after the second day, the pain was returning. i saw a kinesiologist, and he found a few things out of alignment based on an old injury.. put it all back in alignment, and said that i could resume painting whenever i wanted…. i have painted a lot since, and i have not had one twinge.

Lucky! Arthritis in my neck, cant fix. Broken pubic bone-called Diastasis (spelled wrong) Left S.I fusion doc messed up. Left part of the joint in there with nerves intact. Going to visit Vanderbilt to see if they will make me into bionic woman. I am painting today, but its acrylic….Life doesn’t like artists very much.

wow, bless your sweet flower-loving heart! do you eat many potatoes/tomatoes? when arthritis pain reached the point that i oculd not hold a glass w/o almost dropping it, i cut out potatoes – and viola – it worked! now i eat them every so often, and they don’t bother me, but they can’t be a big part of my diet.
i hope that the Vandy folks restore your good health, but it sounds like you’ve had some really difficult times. may the future be bright fo your…

That is so funny because I’m allergic to potatoes! Tomatoes are cancer fighters, why cut them out? More, more, more…teach me
