mittens the tux cat

this cat hangs out in the barn, with a dirt floor, yet her paws are as white as a butler’s. Explain?

  1. Felines use something related to static electricity in the fur that actually repels dust and dirt, someone once told me…

    Great light in this photo.

really? That is very cool, I’ve always wondered how my outdoor cats in the past seems to be clean always, even after rolling in dry dirt.

That is funny. Mittens pads around in dirt all day yet her paws stay snow white. Don’t know how they do it but they do! 🙂

someone said that they are proud of the white & wash more often then other cats. I can see that.

  3. I think she loves her pretty white paws and washes them constantly. I have two lovely white kitties and my daughter asked the other day, “do you think white cats wash more than other coloured cats?” What a beautiful cat that is in your photo–such soulful character.

That makes sense, vanity. The cleanest barn cat I’ve ever seen. He was walking to me, but when I took the picture my flash scared him off. Sweet cat!
