Because I come from Vermont, were they are famous for their maple syrup, all my kids put it on their pancakes. Like $3 dollars worth. Damn, that stuff is expensive. Do you have real maple syrup in Rome?

      1. Yes, we get the real organic stuff. And, yes, it’s brutally expensive here, too.

I lived in Norwich, Vermont for three months when i was fifteen on a student exchange program. Went to the “local” high school, in nearby Hanover, New Hampshire, across the Connecticut River. What a trip!

For all the time I’ve been writing to you, you decided NOT to tell me you were a Vermonter for 3months? Norwich is 30 minutes or so from Montpelier, where I lived! AND I know how far Hanover N.H. is because my Dad worked at the Hitchcock Medical ctr. on Thursdays. So you said you went to University here for a bit, were? Dartmouth? CRAZY small world. My high school boyfriend lives in Norwich now. What a yucky place unless you ski, do you?
