She’s smirking & pulling on her dress as though she’s intending to tell a fib. “Oh, no, it wasn’t me that done that! Y’all gotta believe me, the person that done that was Billy, I didn’t do nothing.” This statue has stood in the same place for about fifty years. She is forever 3 years old. She resides in Alabama, quite possibly made there. Any statue that the sun doesn’t touch, grows mold. Giving away her true age.

I love her animation that is suspended in time forever. I also dig very much the rich patina of old stone grows with age. Love the texture and even the moss. I’m glad you shared.
