I wrote her a text this past Saturday. I was feeling ugly because the surgery had made me swollen. The surgery on my back swelled up like a hunchback. My text said, “Will u still love me if I am ugly in the middle?”
She wrote, “Yes!!! I would love you in a box, i would love you with a fox, I would love you on a goat, I would love you in a boat. I would love you near or far, AND yes, I would love you with a scar” She always knows what I need to hear!

I’m working on it. Spent 22 hours sleeping yesterday. Glad my mom came over to babysit me. But I feel better after all that rest. AND I slept through the night!
