What great art work! Kuddos to your daughter! Can you tell me after she finished her marvelous work, do you have to iron this or apply heat to it to set the colors?

Wow, what a good question. The colors dried just fine. Sophie didn’t want to hang it on her window, she taped hers to her bedroom wall. Looks stunning like that too.

Can you be more specific on the paper she used? Was it wax paper or a clear cellophane?

The paper is very smooth, but very thin-which implys cheap. I found it on a refill roll for a paper dispenser. Does that help?

I want to try this…so you used just inexpensive paper and Sharpies?

Wow, great idea for my art classes! Any particular “butcher paper”?

It’s not butcher paper, it was cheap paper on a roll from a toy store. The color was done with sharpies. My 10 year old daughter did this on her own. While she watched tv during spring break.
