she can be seen very well in this image, but i didn’t know she was in my chair until i tried to sit down. This is Ivy.

this dog worked at ‘Petals from the Past’ in Jemison, Alabama. and, yes, I was down on my tummy, to take the first shot, when an employee/owner walked by, i told them I was sorry (for being on the floor), she said to make myself comfortable. i almost asked her for the working cat’s blanket…

cats make me wish for reincarnation, because if i have to come back, id come back as a cat that had a little basket tucked, into the corner of a garden nursery. 🙂

was a bit of a bully today. Hobbes decided that he would sit on a student’s sketchbook to prevent said child from drawing. 🙂

my happy place

The black, behind the hammock, is the creek that borders our backyard. Behind my hammock are my four raised beds. When I swing here, I hear the water moving over the rocks. I feel the breeze, gentle as a kiss, moving over me. & if Hobbes, my cat, is outside, he jumps onto the hammock….
