why do strawberry leaves collect dots of rain?

  1. Now that is a beautiful string of diamonds created by Mother Nature, is stunning I could stare at it for a long time till the Sun drinks it up!

  8. As I recall well, this are not drops of rain. This is water taken up by the roots and pumped up by the plant itself. They call it ‘guttation’ in science language :). It is most noticeable when there is a high humidity outside. It gives very pretty photo opportunities, if you ask me 🙂
