I was taught how to see. My father supported us as a photographer before graduating as an Optometrist. Photography is what i do, it is what i love. I was developing & printing photographs at age of five. We had a dark room in both the houses we lived in, in Vermont.
But I wanted to be a graphic designer. I wanted to be an artist. I wanted to combine all three into a career. The last art class I took was as a senior in high school. I want to be an artist. But I have to be fearless. I have to fail over & over without taking it personally. I am smart enough to take away any tiny piece of success & apply to another attempt. I won’t give up. I will do art over & over until I have my sketchbooks & walls covered in success

But there is. When health stops you cold. But I’m on my way back, with limits. I will change my original dreams to something a little less demanding. Thank you, Amanda! ~amy
