a black eye among pastel

She couldn’t remember how she got her eye like this…after two days of begging for answers, she said she opened the cabinet mirror in her bathroom.  She said it hit her eye, but it didn’t hurt.

It makes me sad. We belonged only to one another for 18 months. Like twins-then one day decided she no longer needed me or my company. She would rather be with her father. It is still the same. She is gifted with an eye for art, but rejects it now, a normal thing @ age 12 to believe that she is correct in all things…Someday she will make art again & shock us all. ~amy

That must have freaked you out until she told you. We live for our children.

Only a little, Mike. My daughter was staying home with me full time. I knew she had to have done it herself somehow, it was frustrating that she couldn’t remember or that she care less in trying to remember. I think she loved the attention. I just think she hit perfectly, but not painfully. She was so cute, it was such a contradiction to her looks. 🙂 ~amy
