No challenge this time, no story to tell. I just need to share this photo with you, which I found on Facebook. My heart just had a serious meltdown.
I want to give the unknown photographer a huge hug for depicting nobleness, trust and utter kindness in his/her photo. It is absolutely awesome.

Great picture I have seen at are livery countless times how good horses are with kids, and how well they get on with each other, this 18 hand clydesdale follows my son about like a lost puppy http://neilirving73.wordpress.com/2013/07/01/a-very-nice-evening-walk-with-cameron-via-manor-farm/wpid-20130701_202129-1-jpg

Well, Neil, are you accepting applications for farm hands? I will work for room & board. I love your picture of your son, he is so lucky. Really, I would just love to photograph horses. I don’t have access to any, but I’ve always wanted to just hang around taking photographs of them & try to capture what is magical about them. I have painted a few & they seem to require a bit of abstraction to capture what is so special about them. I’m rabbling. Forgive me! ~amy

Cameron is very lucky lol he’s at that age at the moment where he can’t see where his talents lie, he is a wonder to watch with the horses and has a real connection with them (horse whisperer in the making) He will probably spend more time at the farm and not on his xbox when he works out the place is full of girl who love horsey boys, I find it very hard taking good pictures of horses they have a uncanny way of making them selves look odd lol I think they do it on purpose Neil

You’ve gotten quite a few fantastic & some artsy horse photographs. I’ve never seen an odd one, but now I feel the need to look & comment, “oh, Neil, that is an odd looking horse”
I would be proud of a son who prefers outside rather then in & exercise, rather then the art of being a couch potato. An accomplishment today. Also, I believe, with my whole heart, that animals can judge a person far better then man ever could. My son is a year younger then yours. He likes to camp & fish & build legos, read books about King Arthur & watches BBC shows. I’m a bit proud of my son too.

Thanks but for every good shot lol there is 10 odd ones,it is so good for are kids to be able to get out there and do stuff and experience new things, I love watching the horses and how they are with eachother and with us they know if we are upset or in a bad mood before we do

I agree with your comment and add that the horse seems to understand that it is being led by a child. Just a wonderfull picture .

I wondered if I would have been able to let my daughter walk beside such a majestic animal, but then I noticed the green & white rope, that has to be held by an adult & was grateful for it. Just the mom in me reacting! ~amy
