He was my heart. He owned it. I lost him two days after my last birthday. His photographs are in every room of my house, so that I don’t feel his absence as much. I found this one, while in search of another. ~amy

I did too. When I first saw your dog painted with him laying only on the left side of your paper, I thought I would attempt to do that with Blue. I’ve not tried to paint him yet. I lost him two days after my last birthday. Ouch. ~amy

I recommend to all pet owners, photograph your dog a million times. Have someone photograph yourself holding your dog. Blue had a heart attack, he was ten years old. I wasn’t home, but all of my children were. When I got home, I cut a thick bunch of fur from his tail & i tied it with ribbon, I took his collar & cut a two inch piece, i took his rabies tag & framed a photograph of him with these three things. He is in every room, but most of all I want to paint him like you painted yours. I want to buy a HUGE canvas & make him mine to cover the wall beside my bed, so that he can be beside me while I sleep, like he used to be. ~amy
