
whenever i paint something for me, i always forget to photograph it, then remember to do so only after its been framed. i still have this motorcycle. i grew up riding on the back of my father’s & my grandfather’s bikes. i don’t have one & will never get on another. the magic they hold for me is the chrome. on a motorcycle, chrome bends light & distorts the earth like a funhouse mirror.

Gorgeous. I’ve always preferred bikes to look at. I did a painting of a Harley in inks for an (ex) boyfriend that I wish I had a picture of (especially as he hung it on a wall facing a sunny window…)
