and white & brown…he lives in Pell City, Alabama. i pulled my car off to the side of the dirt road. he was far up the hill from where i stood & i had only my standard 18-70mm lens with me. he stood in shadow, so he is underexposed. still, i managed to capture what was so special about him. i saw him in profile first, i assumed both eyes were blue. something i’d never heard of in a horse. he did, eventually turn to me, screaming, ‘hello beautiful’ long enough helped. that’s when i saw that he had a brown/black eye. a defect then, the blue one, he had no pigment in the eye, like the white hair on his side. i loved him in his mixed up glory, i called him mine & named him Oreo.

What a stunningly beautiful creature. Thank you for sharing him with me/us π
