All my classes are three children or less. I find that the smaller the class the more I can get to know & understand their individual skills. Most of the kids come to me after school & they begin art using the logical side of their brain. They press too hard with pencils…its wonderful to watch their frustration disappear when I say, “you’ve got your school brain on, lets switch to the art side” The pencil lines begin to lighten, curves begin to come without effort. The tension in their necks & backs relax. I LOVE IT!!!
Anyway, this class finished their project fifteen minutes early, so I french braided their hair by request & begging.
The arms around one another is a beautiful thing to see.
