My son is gifting this to his teacher

My son was working his butt off for me. I paid him & he used the money he earned, plus a little more, because he wanted this bracelet for his teacher.
He is so excited to give it to her. He has said a few times that he hopes he doesn’t have a substitute tomorrow.
He is soooooo cute, sweet, smart, funny, giving, strong work ethic, I could brag for hours.
Beautiful beads.

The bracelet is beautiful. What’s even more beautiful, is the story behind it. He is a sweetie to think of her!

She loved it, he said, shyly.

My son’s teacher- Ms. Mason, asked Henry why he was giving this to her. He said to me he just shrugged his shoulders & said because I just wanted to. Then he said she was wearing a turquoise/blue colored dress & it was the same color as the beads. (Henry knows rocks & he has the Periodic Table of Elements, with images, poster in front of his desk at home) Then he said that a kid’s mom came in the room & Ms. Mason showed that mom the bracelet. As he told me this story, he was sort of hopping, without leaving the ground, in one spot with a wee blush upon his innocent little-soon to hit puberty 😦 face.

You go right ahead and brag………. sounds like an excellent kid.
Another lifetime ago I was on the receiving end of the occasional gift (being a bloke it was hard for kids to think of presents so I got a few strange ones. I was always very honoured to receive a gift)

Thank you Terry. I am very proud of him. He was afraid of his teacher at the beginning of the year, but then he was afraid of disappointing her. She sees the best in him & his weaknesses she is trying to bring the two together.
When I tucked him in tonight, as I was closing the door, he said,”tomorrow are the beads”

      Heartbreaker, he is.
