Adult part
1. Toilet paper roll, spray with Lysol
2. Draw the 10 Commandments-you can just count 1-10 in English or Hebrew on grey card stock & photocopy & cut out. (too hard for little fingers)
3. For hands, make a long oval & cut in half in color close to toilet roll color.
4. Cut brown, black, tan felt in a semi circle. This part is a pain in the tush, but just keep cutting until it will fit. Or cut card stock as a template & cut the rest of the fabric out for the kids.
Kids assemble with help. We had 4 year olds do this project & it was easy for them.
Children part
1. Glue on beard & hair.
2. With smallest marker head (we used a black super fine point) to draw the face. (a great time to talk about expressions & how important eye brows are.)
3. For ADULTS ONLY! Glue gun the fabric to the Moses’ body. also glue on staff (pipe cleaner) the child has chosen to the side of the body.
4. Have child glue with fabric glue the hand holding the Staff
and the hand holding the Tablets on the other side.
5. We wrapped yarn around his sides to hold everything together while it dried.
This project was made by Amy Saab & Amy Berger Richmond.

I brought my sample upstairs to show my Rabbi, he said, “is that for me?” I had to go back downstairs to make another. & it sits in his office 4 years later.
mine sits with the fine china.
