To me, the best part of blogging is not the number of views, or followers or awards…it is finding wonderful people around the world that you can become familiar to one another & then pen pals.  You can learn things from other people, learn about their towns, their history… I found this written to me in my comment box & fell head over heals for his words & friendship.

Alessandro Ciapanna is a fantastic photographer & my best pen-pal.  I met him through blogging.  He lives in Rome, Italy~I’ve bought one of his images, I wanted him to sign it & address a note to me.  I have met many fellow bloggers that I’ve contacted with, all over the world.  I love finding other people who’s interests are similar to mine.  Artist to artist.  No one ever said that communication with other bloggers was the best part of blogging.  ~amy
