Sophie’s teacher said, “Sophie, if you don’t want this poster, I would love to have it.” Later that day, Sophie overheard kids talking about the poster, the kids were wondering who made it. Sophie spoke up & told them she made it. A few kids asked if they could have it when her teacher was done with it. Lucky…no, nothing to do with luck. She is very talented & worked very hard on the poster. I kept her working because I wanted room in my studio, she had her (crap) stuff on every flat service in the room.
I asked her if it was worth all the work. She said yes.

Wow, that is impressive!!!

She hears this a lot, but the complements just roll off like water on a ducks back. She is like me, she only believes the bad stuff. She is 11, I will try to convince her to hear, absorb & learn from the good stuff. Thank you for complementing her. I will show her today what you wrote!
