Do people understand that all the medicines they take & cancer treatments they receive, & dialysis machines…everything to help us & our families to feel better, was created by scientist? See the light?
Our state is so broke that they are now talking about a 160-day school schedule. All that’s going to do is make it more difficult for working families and provide greater opportunities for curious youth to get into trouble and go off in the wrong direction.
Yes, scary stuff cutting school programs. I’m lucky that I live in an area with the best public schools in Birmingham. I’m sure they’ve had cuts, but we’ve not noticed anything. I was referring to Texas wanting to get rid of science. Crazy stuff going on!
The Texas School Board is populated with conservative religions political extremist fundamentalist fanatics, so they have to need for science. Belief in Got explains everything anyone needs to know…………..insert sarcasm emoticon here.
