I get catalogues full of furniture for the home. Everything in them is neutral- tan, gray, dirty white, white as death. I’ve gotten 80 pounds of catalogs from Restora……….Maybe I shouldn’t say their name (& I only spent $10 for a cute door bell once, not enough to pay for 1/4 of one page). This catalog must have cost millions. The designers want us to believe the new fashion color this year is…color of dead people. (I hear vampires are out, zombies are in.) No sparks, not even flowers on the pages. You want $5,000 dollars for a scratchy, wrinkly, linen couch? In my house that couch would have cheez-it crumbs all over it in minutes. Which I think would be an improvement. At least It would have a pop of color.
Everyone needs a pop of color, it turns our brains back on, wakes us up, gives us hope, makes us notice details, life is in the details.
Maybe that POP of color would prevent Zombies from eating our brains.
Don’t worry dull sheep, when its time for your wool to be sheared, I would hope the buyers will make it pop.
