After taking some time to recover from back surgery, I’ve been welcomed back to the best job in the world. Nothing better.

I love this rainbow of brushes. These brushes were at Elizabeth’s antiques.
The story is about a fish, he watches t.v. all the time, but its sports he watches. He eats junk, but because he understands the plays of each type of game he watches, he believes if he played he would be the best…

or make a bloody mess, you hide what you painted in bottom of the big outdoor trash can….not that that ever happened to me.

This a watercolor, shot through the glass, The brush size I used most often was Winsor & Newton in sizes, #0,#00,#000,#3. If you’re not familiar with bushes, the tips of the ones above are about the same size as a toothpick. (except #3) painting about 6×8….just wanted to remind everyone, that I paint too!

I painted this for a commission to an out going Temple E. president.
This is a watercolor & it took days to figure out how to make the highlights on the door.

Shabbat begins Friday night at sunset & ends with the stars.

Soft velvet, golden thread, a silver breast plate, with a silver yud hanging by a silver chain. This is the smallest Torah the Temple has. I chose to paint this one because my thirteen year old daughter was going to carry it during her Bat Mitzvah.
