The creek in our backyard

It didn’t look like this yesterday. It was brown & as high as the banks that contained it. What a storm we had. This is when our creek is at peace. The odd color is from the red iron rich soil & clay. Maybe I should have faked it blue. I’m just grateful to hear…

white begonia blossoms

This beastie almost died inside, but then my husband planted it the dirt & it came back this spring. I dug it up & planted it in my garden, it is very happy, I just hope it has blossoms like this again.

Orange slices

I loved how bright the colors seem when place in a neutral colored environment. They really pop.

Home from war 2004

my husband was sent for 10months & he chose to return for a 13 day visit for his daughter’s 2nd birthday. This photograph is of him holding his son. Happy Father’s day. We all love you.

Beautiful glass

I am drawn to chandeliers now. My house was not made for one, except the one for little girls full of color.
