I love this shot. I took it in a neighborhood that was known for its poverty.
Bright red geraniums hanging from hooks, birdhouses painted by hand in bright colors. The renters of this apartment attempt to cover the unpainted wood of the rotting balcony. Wood that looks fragile enough to give way to a heavy snow. It is covered with beautiful things to draw the eye upward, so those who notice can see the work of art. Click.
