The Poppies were in the process of turning toward the sun, the sun had been hidden by both winter & some bushes. Nature had taken this tissue paper petaled flower, that needed ironing. Then Nature changed it’s mind & found it was perfect for what it was. A Poppie. I wish we were not so…

They will grow up to become lemons

My Lebanese/Italian husband puts lemon juice on almost all leftovers unless it has tomato sauce on it. Our lemon tree has been stuck in the house since fall & its covered in blossoms. I’m afraid to put it outside because it’s thriving inside.
