What a stunner. I hope they follow through & bare fruit. I hope we get to eat some before all the animals out at the lake eat them first.

That thorn is longer then an inch. Mean looking thing. I wonder why it needs that much protection? What is it hiding? Maybe, like the hydrangea, it tastes delicious so as a result it grew that weapon. Maybe I should dig it up & plant it beside the blueberries.

I love these depressed roses. I have some & question why I bought them. To see their blossoms, you have to pick them up. Are they the way they are because they long to be touched? These were at the Botanical Gardens & were not so pouty, maybe mine are teenagers.
