i think the inside of these waterlilies look like they belong in tropical reefs…i can just picture Nemo hiding inside of one. The Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Monarch butterfly stands on the sun
as it is his glorious right to do so. It is good to be king. I’m blown away by this photograph. It is perfection.

or at least that is what i wrote to Kip. Today, the color of my envy is not green, but yellow. Kip’s photography is astonishing. I am so grateful that he shares them with me. These were shot in Vermont.
