The show was mainly my Uncle’s photography, he said he would share it with us. I brought in nine paintings & sold four, one opening night. Now, if I stood on a street corner downtown offering a painting for 20 bucks, it would be a long day.

I’ve been eating S’s birthday cake with ice cream for breakfast. I’ve posted another picture of her about to blow out her candles but that picture was last year. This year, without complaint, she gave up her birthday because I was in the hospital & I told her when I feel better she will have her cake. Her birthday was April 20th, she finally got this chocolate through chocolate cake May 25. Thank you S. for waiting so I can be there with you. May all your wishes come true. ( Unless you want to be a rockstar or a pop singer.)

this “crick” is at the edge of our property. When we moved in we all climbed down the steep embankment to look for cool stuff. I was telling a woman how wonderful it is down there. She told me there are diamond back snakes & other creepy crawlies. When S. & H. ask to go down there, I tell them, if they see one to scream & run or throw rocks at it, make sure you can describe it & if it bites you, then I’ll take you to the closest hospital. No use worrying about things that may happen, not if you know what to do. I love that kid
