He never scared me. The story was this man was trapped in a cave with a pin hole sized hole allowing light for him to read & write by, but he had to move the book each sentence at a time. This is what I remember, I don’t know if that is the important part or even correct part. But it’s the part that my memory holds when I was told as a little girl. I thought even though he is suffering & alone, he can still read stories. As you know, a good story can take you out of your time & plant you in another, a book can be a time machine, a book can stop time. A book can make you understand who you are or who you want to be. I never watch tv…sounds snobby, but I used to, but my husband wanted to flip channels during commercial & then would want to start watching something thats almost done. GRRRRR! So he watches t.v. on the couch. I go to my room snuggle in & I’m gone.

We took about 15-20 square sheets & misted them with water, piling them on top of one another. Then we found two simple stamps, the cat and the 4 tulips & we pressed it into the wet paper, leaving behind an imprint of your stamp. I think my mom added the color later, maybe with marker. It’s really fun for people to make scrap books & such. But Mom & I have little attention span & moved on. “done that, WHAT’S NEXT!”

Its not allergies causing my post nasal drip, its home being with children, they have liquified my brain. They believe they have the most amazing things to talk about for hours & hours. The come into the art studio lay down behind my chair & whisper about a video game they are playing on somebodies iPod touch. This picture is how I thought summer vacation would be like, because I mentally erase the last.
