Too many posts, but I’m stuck in the studio on this beautiful day trying to finish (or start) two commissions. So while I get so sick of straining my neck to see or try for a straight line, did you know I cant make a straight line? I look at my photo library & I find treasures like this picture.

School project about Ellis Island immigrants circa 1900
She turned into a poor, unhealthy, old lady with no education. Poor girl.
Her grade had to dress up for the project, I wish I could have seen everyone.
In this wonderful room, my eyes were drawn skyward…or ceiling, rather
I thought this brass chandelier would make a very cool painting. However, the photograph was taken via iPhone & reproduces better in b&w. I think I’ve finally worked up the courage to try to watercolor again.
