Orange fish straight up

Orange fish straight up

I was testing my lens, I had seen a few grey spots. This is my very messy art studio & my watercolor brushes.

Lapis Lazuli door

Lapis Lazuli door

I love everything about this old door. But I wonder how you open it?
Rust on an old tin roof. Someday I’ll learn about this building’s history, judging from the wires, I would think that would be an add on.

Sophie’s teacher & her fellow students in school wanted the poster

Sophie's teacher & her fellow students in the whole school...

Sophie’s teacher said, “Sophie, if you don’t want this poster, I would love to have it.” Later that day, Sophie overheard kids talking about the poster, the kids were wondering who made it. Sophie spoke up & told them she made it. A few kids asked if they could have it when her teacher was done with it. Lucky…no, nothing to do with luck. She is very talented & worked very hard on the poster. I kept her working because I wanted room in my studio, she had her (crap) stuff on every flat service in the room.
I asked her if it was worth all the work. She said yes.

This zebra will spin for the rest of his days

This zebra will spin for the rest of his days

When the artist carved the zebra, why did he make him look as though he is fighting to be free? His mouth is open, neck pulled in, fighting against his bonds. He was made to bring children joy. I wonder if anyone notices this animal they ride, wants to be free.
Yes, I know the zebra is not real, but the feeling it evokes in me is. :p
