birds of prey
sit in cages outside the Anniston Museum of Natural History. these birds were brought to the sanctuary wing of the museum to heal & to be released, if they recover enough to fly. i had a staring contest with all of them. i lost.

We were out at the lake. Look at that beast. My white shadow…he followed me everywhere. I have no shadow anymore. Nala, my other husky, has decided she is a throw rug.
your high & mighty owls
These owls are in a temporary sanctuary. Injured birds are brought here to be healed & then released. I don’t know the species of owl, but they appear to have their right eyebrow raised high. Looking at me as though I am far beneath them, both in height (true) & in intelligence (questionable)
