I found these mannequins at the consignment shop, Zoe’s in Forest Park. Their clothes are wonderful. Every time i visit, i feel as though i am a little girl, going through my grandmother’s closet. There are everyday clothes, business attire & little black dresses. Hidden among the everyday, are very old fancy clothes. Clothes that belonged to wealthy women in the 50’s & 60’s. It is not a shop you poke your head in, its the kind of store where you plan on spending the day.
And bring a friend & your camera. There are hats too.
I don’t remember my grandmaother’s clothes I was too young .. but mom Mum had some beautiful dresses. Lovely post

I have friends who live in Vermont, and in adjoining New Hampshire. They say that it is very cold, but, they like it there.

It is cold. People hibernate through winter, its wonderful to slow down every year.

Yes. You should find the you tube video of “Valley Of The Dolls.” It was filmed in NYC and New England. Dolls are “pills.” The opening song was beautiful, as were the scenes in the movie.

I have good news, and I have bad news. The good news is that I have a friend who lives in Vermont, and I told her that you will be moving there. The bad news!!! She asked, why???? Then, she said that in the winter the temperature will stay at -20 degrees for a week or two at a time.!!! My friend is friend trustworthy of her thoughts!!!! So, have you changed your mind lol????

I saw the Hwy 61 sign on the left hand side of your many pictures. It brought back fond memories.

Wonderful pictures can be made in Vermont. Do you remember the Bob Newhart Show, that was based in a mythical area of Vermont, at the Stratford Inn, with “Larry, Darryl, and Darryl?

I love your stories. I have a two-volume set of hard bound books of color pics called (Arizona Highways.” It’s about the deserts and mountains that you can access by taking the highways of Arizona. I lived in Phoenix, and in Las Vegas. Btw, I loved my Minolta cameras and lenses.

Hasselblad 500CM cameras are what I always wanted. I remember seeing some Japanese tourists in Las Vegas, who had at east two of each, with assorted lenses. But, today, I am stuck with my Smart Phone camera. lol

This is the last camera of my dreams. I really did not like going away from film cameras. I enjoyed developing rolls of film. A smart phone or tablet just don’t “do the trick.” So, now you know a little more about me. I wish you well in your photographic endeavors. I usually don’t come across someone who has the same desires as you.
