i lost my garden when i moved out of the house. this shelf contains many of the things i kept in my art studio. there is a brown bear, a glow-in-the-dark alien, a yellow bird, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, a wild thing, spiderman birdhouse, star of David-can you see them? and tons of white rabbits because of Alice in Wonderland. i never really embraced adulthood that well. no one is too old for toys & life is too hard not to bring in fun.
the apartment isnt big enough for me to put a litter box in it. for the summer, i put the cardboard in the window, with enough room for the cats to go in & out, in & out…they love it. i did have a towel over the hole, but the cats took it down. i hid their litter box, “behind the white curtain”and i placed the litter box on top of a dog crate plastic tray.Alabama has been HOT until a few days ago. i have to make a winter hole. i will post what & how i make one.pretty sure i’m gonna need to make it today.
a balcony is important. fill it with things that make you happy.
Your balcony is wonderful Amy .. I bet your cats love it 😃

i love that you called it styles…is it more than one? perhaps eclectic would be mine in some spots & traditional in others? Thank YOU so much for the compliment. ~amy

I love your Baker’s rack–it makes the porch such a cozy, personal space. You have made a wonderful home, Amy. I like it lots. Lots of love to you.

Hi Loisajay, the baker’s rake was so country looking…dated. so i put mirrors in front of the metal flowers (which is what dated the piece) and magically, it LOOKS so different. Thanks you!! Lots of love to you too! ~amy
