before i knew how to garden, i had no idea that changes happen over night. blueberries…i thought they all turned blue at the same time…nope. i go to bed, in the morning, i see berries that went from green to blue is a gift i can’t stop eating.

All that you see in the second to the last picture is tomatoes, blueberries, a strawberry & my hydrangea flowers.

I put the blueberries on a plate in the kitchen, i leave them out for a day to ripen the few that are not fully blue. My daughter made dinner last night and she said, “Mom, i helped you by putting away all the blueberries” I told her why i leave them out after i pick them & inform her they won’t ripen in the fridge. “Mom, i put them all in my stomach” Geez, i can’t believe she ate all those! 🙂 ~amy

My raspberry bush is only a year old & has given me two berries this summer, they never made it to a bowl. I ate them straight off the bush. YUM! ~amy
