Yes, they do cross their paws. These escape artists are outstanding, intelligent dogs. They can drive you crazy sometimes……they love to run, what they were breed for. Have had to bail mine out of jail a few times, county eventually finds her when she escapes from the fenced yard. They find ways.
Hello Arlin…a fellow husky owner? My husky came from Alabama Siberian Husky Rescue…her & her brother’s escape must have been the last time the owner cared wether they returned or not. Nala, my female, was on death row & i applied to the rescue as foster mom. But the minute her paws hit my floors, she owned me. She no longer runs far. I think she learned her lesson. She lost her home & her brother. Now, if she runs away, i just get into the car & go to her favorite places & she hops right into the car. I love huskies, i don’t think there is another breed that has such a wonderful sense of humor. Nor as stubborn. Thank you for blogging her photo. ~amy
