what a great descriptive color. I say that he has the same color fur as my redhead daughter. They are a pair together. I think Hobbes will need therapy when my daughter heads off to college in August. 🙂
Beautiful! I will have to show you our boy sometime Amy? You would love him, one arrival home each day he refuses to give in unless I bend down so he can stand up and rub noses with me 🙂
Oh, so sweet! I would love to see your cat. Have you posted images of him before? Hobbes is no nose rubber, he is a crash-to-the-ground-&-glory-in-my-beauty type of cat. However, if he decides to lay on me, no matter how uncomfortable, i will not move for as long as i can endure the position b/c i’m so honored. 🙂 ~amy
Hi Amy, we love your blog. Thanks for following us and we hope you have fun with us. We too like to ramble, and we will be rambling back here regularly.
Oh, come on I can just start purring too right now. My cat used to flirt too in some similar way when I talked to him! He was twisting and turning around , letting small noises out, opening his mouth and putting his paws up almost like wanted to touch me ! We could do that for a long time, having a conversation in cat language I guess, I loved it and I love Hobbes too! 🙂
That is exactly what Hobbes does…minus the noise. He seems to be mute. He was never able to purr & his meow disappeared a year or so ago. It is kind of sad. He asked to go outside by making noise with his paw. My other cat, Ivy, she is the talker. She is so funny to talk to. Hobbes is a beauty. Thank you, Eva! ~amy
I know Hobbes thinks of us as his servants…so he must think himself our leader in some way. But he does come in for a scratch & a snuggle, so maybe we aren’t so bad. 🙂
Ha! One cat-lover to another! Thanks for the follow here at the Farm. Much appreciated. I looked around a bit at 2Me4Art and very much liked a couple of posts which addressed your religious background. I say, ‘Good for you,’ for this has always been something that I have shied away from for lack of courage. Your southward migration is also something I relate to. Thanks again for shining a bit of light in my day. D
Thank you, D. I am wondering what posts you looked at about my religious background…I rarely post stuff like that. I know I’m a minority. Even more so as a Vermont in Alabama. Thank you for looking at my blog & the follow. I look forward to seeing more from your blog. ~amy

Adorable tabby cat rolling and teasing. I love the touch of apricot coming through in those sweet paws and nose.
