step 1. adopt a Siberian Husky from your state’s Siberian Husky rescue organization.
step 2. own a car with black interior & take your Siberian Husky, while she is blowing her coat, for rides with all the windows open.
Nala went with me today to drop the kids off at the movie theater. I keep the, “I Love Snow” leash in my car for ‘just in case’ reasons. I have an SUV & i put down the back seat so that Nala can sit beside my son. during the ride today, she decided my son needed a bath & licked his arm almost to the bone.
Nala & i are parked outside the theater waiting for a text from my daughter to let me know they got tickets & popcorn. i thought it was funny that we were sitting in a black car, in 80 degree heat & she was wearing a leash about snow. in the last picture, it looks like she thinks its funny too. ~amy
Nala’s showing you the love in that last picture 🙂 Ah, what we put up with for our wonderful pets!

I would far rather grumble over so much fur in my house, then live in a museum free of any evidence of pets. 🙂 You got it right, i think Nala is showing me love & happiness in that last picture, too. ~amy

I know just what you mean. I don’t wear black. My day job is fur removal. And forget about the car.

Ha! I love that. My day job is fur removal. I don’t mind one bit, she is worth every mess she leaves behind. I framed your painting & it hangs in my art studio to inspire & be reminded of my wonderful dog Blue. I will take a photo of it when I’ve finished cleaning up my art room…which seems to be a full time job in & of itself! ~amy

Keeping my art stuff in order is a constant and eventually requires many days of clean up…….as right now. I would love to see the photo and I’m really happy that you are enjoying it.

I think art supplies have legs & yearn for freedom. It is a constant battle to put things to right. But i am grateful for the chance to be able complain about something so wonderful as having an art room. I will show you your painting. I love it. ~amy

I agree. During my life and many homes I am also grateful that I have always had a my place to create. One time it was in a linen closet which I converted so that I could just pull back a sliding door when the kids napped and close it back up when they woke. Surprisingly I kept it neat….mostly because if I didn’t I could create.

Doesn’t have to be a Husky….our little Jack Russell Buster seems to permanently loose white hairs. Yep the car interior is black, but that is the least of the problems…clothes, carpets, chairs (sorry, yes chairs) and anything else he comes into contact with. For such a small bundle you do wonder where all the hair comes from as he still has plenty!!!!

You are right, David. Dogs leave behind evidence of having been anywhere. All that mess she leaves behind doesn’t bother me, because i know she is a gift & that i’ll only have her in my life for such a short time. I don’t even mind pulling her fur from my mouth a dinner. She is my treasure. As I’m sure your Buster is to you. 🙂 ~amy

You are exactly right, Lilka. Nala does know how beautiful she is. She is the biggest ham you could find when she sees other people. 🙂 Thank you for the compliment. I’d pass it on to her, but she would just say, “i know” ~amy

She definitively knows how to pose! The story is just sweet and funny, made me smile thinking about the circumstances! Maybe you should get Nala a blanket with which you can cover the seat, get a white one you won’t see the dog hair anymore :):):)

There is a blanket for her to lay on, but she bunches it up while trying to stand while I drive like a crazy woman. 🙂 I put the seat down so that she can stand up & put her head out the sunroof too. Thank you for the advice, though. She is so worth the mess she leaves behind. ~amy

Her head out on the sunroof, now that is something I would like to see, an SUV with a husky head on the top! That would definitively win my heart! You’re right do, with a beautiful husky like Nala who cares about doghair and mess. Give her a big hug from Eva Marks 🙂
