This Monument is in Montevallo, Alabama. Lady Liberty is on the property of the American Village. I belong to Camellia Garden Club. This past Monday, we met & had lunch & a short tour though the National Veterans Shrine. It is a building patterned after Philadelphia’s Carpenters Hall. The building honors all American Veterans of all wars. Anyone can enter their families Veterans in the Register of Honor. www.veteransregisterofhonor.com .They hope to collect a huge data base full of information about each soldier.

I think those bronze statues are interesting objects to photography, first for the part of history they represent, second because they are esthetically beautiful

The statue is a beautiful tribute. I am in awe of the artistry and design. You could just stare at it for hours and still find new details on it that you hadn’t noticed before. The patina on it is unusual that you do not see here in Sweden.

What color are your bronze statues? The artist captured movement with an amazing delicately that shocked me. I guess you can tell I was in awe of it because I shot her from every angle. ~amy
