a neglected Christmas cactus
still delivered me a few blossoms. Oy, the guilt. I promised the plant I will pay it a bit more attention in return for its kindness.
Cairn terrier made of glitter
my daughter made this for her Uncle. She found a silhouette drawing of a Cairn Terrier, printed it on card stock & cut him out to use as a stencil on matt board. She then cut him out of matt board. She then took Martha Stewart glitter & Mod Podge & painted & sprinkled her…

the only color that could be seen. This statue is so old that the concrete has begun to wash off, leaving behind only the stones that made her. This statue belonged to my husband’s grandmother & had she lived, she would have turned 100 years old in early December.
