a wicked tale
We used two king size flat fitted sheets & i had the whole Sunday school first paint the white sheets green. The second time, I had the class paint the castle white & the mountains in shades of grey. We had only two Sundays to paint it because the art teacher (me) flew to Vermont. So I took this beast home & thought I could work on it on our dinning room floor. Not a chance,it was too big. I called a friend & a great artist when I beg her to be one. I asked her if i could finish it in her HUGE basement & she offered to help. Down to the wire, today is Saturday-tomorrow the play.

The State of our Union
I drive down our roads & there is nothing to see but FOR SALE signs. This is NOT who we are. We have families, we have homes with friends & dogs & cats & birds & fish… These are the things that define who we are, do you really want to sell WHO we are? But who am I to say this? Nobody, really. I’m just one vote. But I’m paying attention & these ribbons say it all.

May I come in?
Hobbes knows which window to find us. Did you know that face is impossible to ignore? I can pretend he is not there for a little while (5minutes max), but then I give up & give in. I let him, he run to the food dish, eats for 30 seconds then runs to the front door & wails to go out. Hobbes goes out & sits at this window & meows. David says we need a water gun. At least he says water. David can’t resist him either.

This cat works at the garden nursery we visited yesterday
I saw her & told me kids to FREEZE! THey did, but asked a million times why. After I got a shot or three, I said, “its a cat” the run forward to see it. The cat quickly took off. Both of them said they wish they could see what it looked like. “Kids, this is what the cat looked like”

You should be worried. These beasts are the ones I’m most afraid of. It waits, like a cat, bites like Jaws, then drowns you like a lobster in a pot. Maybe we taste like lobster!
