This is wild hydrangea
We planted it last year along with regular white hydrangea. We call them “Will’s Flowers” because a beautiful child we knew was dying. He was in the hospital when we planted them & I sat in the dirt, with dirty tears pouring down my face. I was thinking mostly of his mother, my friend. As soon as these turn white, the first vaseful goes to her.
